Enrollment
Indigo is a “School Choice” program within the Oak Grove School District (OGSD). Enrolling in the Indigo program requires several steps (please follow the procedure below that applies to you, depending on whether you live within or outside the OGSD).
Important for New Families! Upon completion of the school registration process as described below, please download the 2011-12 Membership Packet. Read all information carefully. Print, fill out, and return the forms (pages 15 - 23) with all the requested documents by June 9th to the school office.
Families who reside WITHIN the OGSD must complete and submit a “School Choice” application. School Choice applications for the following school year are available beginning the first Monday in February. School Choice applications are available at all OGSD school sites and the District Office located at 6578 Santa Teresa Blvd., San Jose, CA 95119.
Parents will be notified of the status of their School Choice Transfer Request beginning June 1. After you have been notified that your child has a space in the Indigo program you must also complete the following steps:
1. Register your student with the school office by completing an OGSD Student Registration form and all required documents. Registration forms are available in the school office.
2. Complete and return the Indigo Membership Packet.
Families who reside OUTSIDE the OGSD must complete and submit an “Inter-District Transfer” request with your home school district. Indicate Frost Indigo Program as the requested school/program. Once you have been notified that your child has a space in the Indigo program you must also complete the following two steps:
1. Register your student with the school office by completing an OGSD Student Registration form and all required documents. Registration forms are available in the school office.
2. Complete and return the Indigo Membership Packet.

First priority for the Indigo program is given to families who reside within the OGSD.

Please Note: No transportation is provided to Indigo. Families must make their own transportation arrangements. Many families are able to arrange carpools.
